Responsible play

Gambling comes at a cost over time. The house edge is not a warning label, it is the arithmetic that pays for the whole operation, and no bonus, filter or strategy changes it. This is the basis for everything below.
Decide before you start
Rather than after a losing streak, work out beforehand what you can afford to lose, before that first deposit. Setting a limit calmly makes it last; setting one while chasing does not. Rather than expecting your spending to come back as a return, consider it simply the cost of having fun.
The tools in your account
- Deposit limit — a payment-in ceiling applied on a daily, weekly or monthly cycle.
- Loss limit — a cap on how much you can lose overall across a period.
- Session reminder — a notice tracking how long you have been at it.
- Time-out — suspends account access for however long you decide.
- Self-exclusion — shuts down the account for a more extended period.
Cut a limit and it takes effect straight away. Raising a limit is built to be slow, so it cannot vanish just when it is needed most.
Warning signs
Early attention should go to three patterns: spending funds earmarked elsewhere, chasing losses, and, when talking to other people, playing down the real time or money spent. One of these signs on its own is not especially significant. The three points mean something when combined.
Where to get help
Not one of these organisations is affiliated with us.
- ConnexOntario on 1-866-531-2600, confidential and at no cost.
- Responsible Gambling Council — an independent, non-profit source of information for players and their families.
- Gamban — a program that keeps gambling websites off every device you own.
About national self-exclusion schemes. Any national or regional self-exclusion scheme operating in your province normally applies to operators licensed there. Where an operator is licensed does not matter for the self-exclusion tool in your account or for blocking software on your devices.
Under-age gambling
We reserve accounts for adults aged 19 and over. When a device is used by more than one person, install parental controls and store login details somewhere others cannot find them. Accounts opened by minors are closed and winnings are voided.
